What the Safety Training Course Covers

  • Tube Fitting Installation Training

    Hands-on instruction for making up two-ferrule instrumentation tube fittings the right way, including checking every connection with a gap inspection gauge.

  • Tube Bending Training

    Learn to measure, mark and bend stainless steel tubing cleanly and consistently, without kinking or flattening the tube.

  • Job Site Evaluation

    We'll meet you on site to look at your application and help you pick the right fittings, valves, tubing and tools for the job.

  • Tube Prep

    Cutting tubing square and deburring the inside and outside so ferrules seat properly.

  • Proper Make-Up

    Bottoming the tube in the fitting, marking the nut and tightening to the correct turns.

  • Inspection

    Using a gap inspection gauge to confirm every fitting is made up correctly.

  • Reassembly

    Taking fittings apart and remaking them without damaging the seal.

  • Bending

    Measuring, marking and bending tubing to accurate angles and offsets.

  • Tools

    Choosing and using the right tube cutters, deburring tools and benders.
