How the part numbers compare
Both brands start with a letter for the brand family, then a code for the fitting style, then the tube size in sixteenths of an inch, then the pipe thread size, and end with the material.

Style codes don't always match letter for letter. A Hy-Lok male elbow is CLMA, and the DK-Lok male elbow is DLM. A Hy-Lok union tee is CTA, and the DK-Lok union tee is DT. That's why we check every line before we quote.

Frequently asked questions
Can I mix Hy-Lok and DK-Lok parts in the same fitting?
We don't recommend mixing brands inside one fitting unless the manufacturer has test data for that combination. DK-Lok's ASTM F1387 intermix testing was done with Swagelok, and DK-Lok has an interchangeability letter for Parker A-Lok. When you switch a Hy-Lok line to DK-Lok, replace the complete fitting: body, nut and ferrules.
