Tube Installation Tools

A good tube fitting connection starts with a clean cut, a clean end and a smooth bend. We stock the tools to do it right on stainless steel tubing:

• RIDGID heavy-duty tube benders for 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" stainless steel instrumentation tubing. Made for stainless and other hard tubing, they bend up to 180° without kinking or flattening the tube.
• Deburring tools to remove inside and outside burrs after cutting, so the ferrules seat properly and chips stay out of your system.
• RIDGID tube cutters for stainless steel tubing that make square, clean cuts on 3/16" to 1-1/8" tubing, ready for DK-Lok tube fittings.
• GRIP-IT TOOL for 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" OD tubing. It grips the stainless steel tubing while you cut it with a tube cutter, so the tube doesn't spin in your hand.
• Fitting Tool for holding stainless steel tube fittings from 1/16" to 1/2" steady while you work on them.
• Pre-swaging tools to preset the nut and ferrules onto the tube before final installation. Handy for larger tube sizes and tight spots where it's hard to get a wrench on the fitting.
• Gap inspection gauges to confirm each fitting was pulled up enough. If the gauge fits between the nut and the body, the fitting needs more tightening.
